The Teacher’s Book, contains the piano accompaniment for the solfège exercises as well as the transpositions that are asked for in the exercises. The piano scores include chord symbols to facilitate teachers who wish to accompany the exercises on another polyphonic instrument, e.g. a guitar, or who prefer a simpler accompaniment than the one proposed.

Furthermore, the harmonisations are quite simple, in order to be sight-read easily. The teacher is, however, free to embellish the accompaniments at their own discretion.

Accompanying the solfège exercises is highly recommended. It is important that the students learn to sing the melody to the accompaniment, even when the piano is not playing the melody. Therefore, each solfège exercise is recorded twice. In the first version, the piano plays both the melody and the accompaniment and, in the second version, the piano plays only the accompaniment.
